my hosts file

in addition to the mvps hosts file i have added some sites that i don't want my computer connecting to. i've blocked these sites because some web page content was blinking or moving or attempting to track me somehow or belonged to a third party affiliate of the web site. it seems like a perpetual cat and mouse game with webmasters and advertisers and i'll play it until they learn that this is my computer and i control what runs on it. not what they think i should run. i don't know if my additions are redundant or can be optimized. i just added whatever i didn't like from a web page on the fly.

another host file i've used is hpHosts. this one is well maintained and quite extensive. i had to remove it though because it blocked content i wanted to see.
